ASX companies Vista, SKY Metals and Nyrada reported major agreements, drilling results, drug trials progress and recent updates on patent developments.Β

Vista Group International Ltd (ASX: VGL)Β

Vista Group International Ltd on 20 May 2026 announced that Cinepolis signed a six year agreement to move its Mexico circuit to Vista Cloud Operational Excellence. Cinepolis operates 504 cinema sites with more than 4,100 screens across Mexico. The transition is planned through 2026 while commercial terms began from 1 January 2026. The agreement also includes all Vista Cloud capabilities.

The company showed that this development came after the earlier migration of Cine Yelmo in Spain during 2024 and 2025. Cine Yelmo had already shifted to Vista Cloud Digital Enablement and later adopted Operational Excellence capabilities. The progress of that project supported the next phase with the larger Mexico circuit.

On 14 May 2026, Vista Group International Ltd announced that Regal Cineworld Group signed for Digital Enablement across 88 UK cinema sites with more than 950 screens. The rollout is planned for 2026 after the successful transition of 25 Picturehouse Cinemas sites in 2025.

SKY Metals Ltd (ASX: SKY)Β

on 18 May 2026 reported more wide and shallow high grade tin, tungsten and silver intercepts from infill drilling at the Tallebung Project. The results are expected to support the updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Pre Feasibility Study planned for release this quarter. More than 500 drill holes have now been completed at the project.

The company noted that recent drilling targeted shallow high grade zones for potential early mine production. Additional assay results from infill and extensional drilling are still pending and may support further resource growth. The ongoing program is focused on advancing Tallebung toward near term development and production opportunities.

SKY declared on 14 May 2026 that it has entered into a binding option contract with Locksley Resources Limited to divest the non core Iron Duke Copper Gold Project in New South Wales for a total potential value of $1.1M. The deal contains upfront cash payments and milestone linked consideration.

Nyrada Inc (ASX: NYR)Β

on 20 May 2026 announced that Xolatryp showed anti tumour activity in a preclinical liver cancer study. The drug reduced tumour volume both on its own and in combination with doxorubicin. The combined treatment delivered the strongest result and was well tolerated. The company also lodged a provisional patent application covering Xolatryp as an anti cancer treatment.

On 19 May 2026, NYR received a notice of allowance from the United States Patent and the Trademark Office for its Xolatryp composition of matter patent application. The patent is likely to provide protection in the United States for 20 years from the September 2024 filing date. The application is also part of a broader patent portfolio across Australia, Europe and Japan.

On 22 April 2026, the first hospital site opened for recruitment in the PROTECT-MI Phase IIa trial. The study is testing Xolatryp for reducing heart muscle injury after a heart attack.
