ASX 200 Stock APA Group Shines as a Consistent High Yield Dividend Payer
If your goal is to earn high-yield passive income which is also reliable then APA Group stands out as an attractive choice due to its highly predictable cash flows and inflation linked earnings that support consistent and growing distributions over time.
APA Group (ASX: APA)
APA Group (ASX: APA) is regarded as one of the most consistent dividend payers on the ASX which is supported by its leading position in Australiaβs gas and energy infrastructure network while its asset base also includes solar farms, wind farms and electricity transmission.
The group reported underlying EBITDA of $2.02 billion which was up 6.4% year-on-year and ended FY25 with a strong balance sheet and liquidity position supported by operating cash flow of $1.28 billion and free cash flow of $1.08 billion.
Distribution per security increased to 57 cents which marked the 21st consecutive year of distribution growth and highlights the stability and predictability of the companyβs cash flow profile.
APA Group also announced a binding agreement to divest its 20% stake in the Allgas gas distribution network to Stonepeak for an estimated $64 million which simplifies the portfolio and has a negligible earnings impact as the assets contributed less than 1% of FY25 underlying EBITDA.
The company has a market capitalisation of around $11.78 billion and offers a current annual yield of 6.42%.
Underlying EBITDA is expected to rise to between $2.12 billion and $2.20 billion while distribution guidance has been lifted to 58 cents per security.
A large proportion of APAβs revenue is linked to inflation which provides a steady level of organic growth over time as the business continues to invest regularly in new energy assets through both project development and acquisitions.
APA distributes dividends on a semi-annual basis and is well positioned to deliver reliable dividend income to investors as it consistently returns a high proportion of its cash flow each year.
