Minerals 260 Limited - M16 share price
About
Minerals 260 Limited (ASX: MI6), on 23 February 2026 presented its vision of developing a new gold producer in Australia with the focus being on the Bullabulling Gold Project. It has set a target of commencing production towards the end of 2028. A major milestone is the A$220 million strategic funding package from Franco Nevada. This includes A$170 million for an increase in royalty to 2.45% and a A$50 million equity investment at a premium price, making Franco Nevada a 4.9% shareholder. This is noted as Franco-Nevada’s largest investment in Australia and is seen as strong external validation of the project’s scale and quality. The project already has granted Mining Leases and a Native Title Agreement in place with a development pathway moving from PFS to DFS, then construction and operations using conventional open pit mining and carbon-in-leach processing.
